Panel Event: How Will Our Farming Communities Benefit From the Royal Commission Findings?

In response to the recently published Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System, our Director, Alison Kennedy, will be exploring what the findings of this inquest mean for farming communities, and how we can benefit from them, in a free panel event to be held this Thursday at 1:00pm via webinar.

Two special guests will be joining the panel: 2020 Victorian AgriFutures Woman of the Year Kelly Barnes, and farmer with lived experience Alistair Gabb, who each bravely shared their journey with mental health as a witnesses in the Royal Commission hearings.

Through the discussion the panelists will explore how the recommendations from the Royal Commission will be rolled out, how we can best utilize these benefits, and how you can become involved. There will also be an opportunity fora live discussion, where Alison, Alistair, and Kelly will be available to answer your questions.
