November 13, 2021 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Come along to watch the new, heartwarming movie “Happy Sad Man” while enjoying a free bbq, the chance to meet the filmmaker and listen to community panel.
HAPPY SAD MAN is a charming and uplifting insight into the lives of five very different Australian men. The hopes, anxieties, joy and darkness and the raw vulnerability of these stories will inspire you to hold some of the men in your life that bit closer.
While the topic of the whole event is mental health (especially for men), these two upcoming events are for the whole community, with the goal to be celebrating coming together after COVID-19.
There are two events running this weekend:
Saturday, 13 November 2021 | 06:00 PM – 09:00 PM. Stawell Entertainment Centre, Stawell Town Hall, 59 Main street, Stawell
Sunday, 14th November 2021 | 11.30 AM – 2:30 PM. McDonald Hall, St Arnaud Town Hall, 40 Napier St, St Arnaud.
To support local community initiatives a $5 donation is encouraged at entry. This includes tea and lunch (including BBQ!). Free entry for carers, people with companion cards, or anyone who can’t afford $5.
You can purchase tickets ahead of time either online through the link below, at St Arnaud Newsagency or by calling the organiser at 5358 7400.
